Optical Structures & Materials Lab

Our research focuses on controlling light-matter interaction over diverse materials
to solve challenges in optics and photonics. 

Research statement

We are interested in (i) design of optical structures and materials to engineer the flow of light as well as strong coupling of light with materials, (ii) characterization of electrodynamics and optoelectronics properties in materials, and (iii) development of next-generation devices for optics and photonics.

Education statement

We provide research opportunities with academic training and professional mentorship to postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates. Our goal is to educate our trainees for the next generation of scientists and engineers capable of solving challenging problems in materials science and engineering.
